Like I mentioned yesterday, I think evening routines are just as important as morning routines. Maybe even more so, because I believe you set your self up for success or failure in your day based on what you do the night before. Here's how I went about setting up my more intentional evening routine.

I need my intentional morning routine, because using my mornings well affects my entire day. If I wake up late and don't follow a plan, my whole day feels off and I don't get everything done that I need or want to. A morning routine gives you time and energy for the things that matter most, so I'm sharing not just my routine but also how you can set up an intentional morning routine yourself to help guide your day.

You've made it to part 5! I really had to sort this out in my head before I started this series and 5 seemed like the natural breaking points between topics, but I wasn't sure I could power through and make it all the way here. You know how I like to quit things early sometimes. But here we are. As a refresher - part 1 was about finding your personal style, part 2 was about purging your closet, part 3 was about the different types of capsule wardrobes, and part 4 was about buying pieces for your wardrobe on a budget. This final post in the series is about maintaining the capsule wardrobe and the minimalist closet over time.
I can't believe we're already on part 4 of the capsule wardrobe series. I also can't believe I've had that much to say about it so far, and I still don't feel like I'm done. If you need a reminder - part 1 was about finding your personal style, part 2 was about purging your closet, and part 3 was about the different types of capsule wardrobes you could try. Today, I wanted to talk about how to find those pieces you still need to complete your capsule, but on a budget.
Welcome back to the capsule wardrobe process. If you need a reminder, first we looked at how to find your personal style, and then how to purge your current wardrobe to match your personal style and make room for your capsule wardrobe. Today, we're looking at some different types of capsule wardrobes out there so you can figure out all the possible ways you could go in your own closet. And I'll talk about what worked for me in particular.
I actually got a few questions about capsule wardrobe basics, about getting started and finding the right pieces and maintaining something small (but not that small) for yourself. And about why my system has nothing to do with having a certain number of neutral tops and bottoms that can all be mixed and matched for the most options.

It's been about 8 months since we've moved in and I think we've really settled in nicely. We haven't added too much, but I wanted to do a video update anyway so you could see the little tweaks and get a feel for the layout. I hope you enjoy the house to home tour!
